Tips for Planning an Ideal Valentine’s Day Date

We haven't even finished taking down our Christmas decorations and yet we start to notice a lot of red signals already. It’s not surprising, the Valentine’s Day is coming. Hanging flowers, chocolates and hearts are starting to fill the stores’ windows. With well-known love songs and the occasional new hits, radio programs help us get in the right kind of mood. Here are some tips to plan a perfect date this coming Valentine’s Day.

Create a fantastic date night plan.

Having a fantastic date night idea is the first step in planning your date night. Ironically, the first step is usually the most difficult part. How often do you go back and forth with your date or with your romantic partner? Does the phrase "I don't know, what do you want to do?" sounds familiar? Yes, planning your date night can sometimes seem a little challenging, but try not to overthink it.

Keep in mind that the ideal date must have quality time spent together, discovery (knowing something new about each other), spontaneity and connection. As long as those are there, it doesn’t really matter what you do.

No matter what you decide to do, keep in mind that a date is a moment to either get to know a potential partner more, rekindle your relationship with your significant other.

Set Up a Time and Place for Your Date (and stay committed)

Have you already decided on your next date? Great! Now is the time to put it on your calendar! Find out when you are both available by discussing about it with your date.

It's best if you both have a full day of free time, but even a few hours work in a pinch.

Make A Date Itinerary

Create an itinerary of everything you need to arrange for to keep you organized if you are organizing a more complicated date night with a different kind of activities. This is a right time to confirm the restaurant's hours of operation, movie times, travel distances, and any other else that is time sensitive.

Although we strongly favor spontaneity on date nights because that is how the best memories are made, we also want to do our part to help you feel less stressed. Your planned date night doesn't have to go according to plan, but being late for the movie or finding out the restaurant you wanted to eat wasn't open that day can be frustrating and take away from the date's most important part—the quality time you spend together. It's always better to be safe than sorry!

Find Ways to Engage with One Another.

When you’re together, make sure to stay engaged.

The worst thing you can do after all this planning and preparing, is to spend your time on the phone or making small talk that neither of you is actually interested in. Find ways to stay engaged and talk with one another while maintaining the theme of discovery. For example, if you are going to a restaurant or in a picnic, try coming up with some interesting questions to ask one another.

Gather Memories to Reminisce Upon

Remember to collect memories! Having something to look back on, whether it's a photo of the two of you, a small memento, or some other remembrance, will remind you of those feelings and inspire you to plan your future dates! We typically let life pass us by without knowing to remember on those amazing moments we shared with our significant others. Gathering those memories along the way can help you and your significant other can fully enjoy your journey together.

Lastly, before you go on a date, don’t forget that you must look good and feel good for your partner. For fresher breath, make sure to use Breath Pearls Smile Toothpaste and pack up Breath Pearls Softgels to keep your mouth fresh all day and all night long.

Enjoy your date with without bad breath worries!
